Dr. Giuliana Cicuto

Psychologist – Psychotherapist – Expert in Autogenic Training


Dr. Giuliana Cicuto is a distinguished psychologist and psychotherapist from Turin. She earned her degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of Turin in 1998 and became a certified Autogenic Training Operator in 1999. She has been registered with the Turin Psychologist Board since 2000 and specialized in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Institute (I.P.P.) by 2006. Her extensive experience includes a postgraduate internship at the N.P.I. and the Family Counseling Center in Nichelino, and clinical expertise at the Anxiety and Panic Attack Center in Turin. She also served as General Secretary at the Association for Depression Research until 2011. Since 2019, Dr. Cicuto has been the Director of the Psychotherapy Center at the Psychoanalytic Institute Forbas. She is a prolific writer on topics such as depression, anxiety, and the psychological development of women through life cycles, and actively participates in mental health conferences. In her clinical practice, Dr. Cicuto focuses on treating adults with sessions tailored to individual and group needs, including specialized autogenic training.
