Piano Concerts at the Ducal Castle of Aglié

A season of concerts organized by Orium APS and telemasterclass thanks to the collaboration with the Royal Savoy Residences and the Regional Directorate of National Museums – Piedmont

Every weekend, on Saturdays at 18:15 and occasionally on Sundays, free piano concerts will be held at the Castle of Agliè. The concerts, lasting about an hour, will feature talented established and emerging musicians. In addition to solo recitals, the program also includes duo performances (flute and piano, voice and piano), trio performances (oboe, bassoon, and piano), and four-hand piano performances.

The participating artists are established or emerging musicians, many of whom already have concert careers both in Italy and abroad.

Live Streaming

The concerts will be broadcast live on the Telemasterclass YouTube channel. It is recommended to subscribe to the channel to receive notifications about live events, particularly useful for those who cannot attend in person or live far away.

Reservations

Access to the concerts is free; however, seating is limited to 40 guests. Therefore, it is essential to make a reservation via email at drm-pie.aglie@cultura.gov.it. After the concert, it will be possible to visit the Royal Apartment and the State Apartment of Agliè Castle, a unique opportunity to explore the magnificent historic rooms.

Agliè Castle: A Place of Enchantment

The concerts will be held in the enchanting Ducal Castle of Agliè, a place of great historical and cultural charm. The castle, dating back to the 12th century, is located in the picturesque town of Agliè and is distinguished by its Baroque architecture and splendid Italian gardens. In addition to being a royal residence, the castle boasts richly decorated interiors with frescoes, stuccoes, and period furnishings reflecting its long history and cultural significance.

In recent years, Agliè Castle has gained further fame thanks to its appearance in famous television series, including “Elisa di Rivombrosa” and “Beauty and the Beast,” highlighting its magnificence and timeless charm.

Several pianists performing at Agliè Castle participated in the Pianist Summer Retreat, held in July 2024 in Orio Canavese, near Agliè. This event saw many young talents emerge and refine their interpretative skills, preparing them for the concert season. For those who had the pleasure of following them during the Pianist Summer Retreat, this will be a wonderful opportunity to see them again in an equally enchanting setting.
